We would like as many Primary schools as possible from all around Gloucestershire to get involved with Festomane to start inspiring the interest of the next generation in maths, science, creativity and problem-solving.
‘Engineer Your Future’, held at the UTC in Berkeley is for Year 6 children who have completed their SATS exams. They and their teachers can have a welcome break from the classroom and fire up their enthusiasm for the last few weeks of Primary school. This event is an interactive, hands-on exhibition with lots going on to spark the interest of these exam-jaded young people and should give them lots to think and talk about back at school. Click on the Get Involved page to register your school!
For years 5 and 6 our partners, STEMworks are delivering workshops across the county. With only one place left to be filled, we’re delighted that the following schools will be participating and, hopefully, inspiring the engineers and scientists of the next generation:
Tredworth Primary School, Cam Woodfield Junior School, Cam Hopton C of E Primary School, Stone with Woodford C of E Primary school, Brimscombe C of E Primary School, North Nibley C of E Primary School, Foxmoor Primary School, Kings Stanley C of E Primary School, St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Rosary Catholic Primary School and Chalford Hill Primary School.
