This interactive event aimed at post-SATS student groups and their teachers was a morning or afternoon of fun, interactive workshops and talks, hosted at Berkeley Green UTC. Activities were run by students, with support from employers including Cyber Security Associates, Fujitsu, Versarien, Atkins and Renishaw to name just a few.
Everyone – teachers included! – had the opportunity to get hands on
with science and engineering projects including 3D printing, robots, drones,
virtual reality and cyber security – as well as designing and sketching ideas of their own.
This event was inspiring and informative, as well as great fun for everyone – and the perfect opportunity to step out of the world of SATs and into STEM, with the knowledge that science and engineering are very much alive and well.
